A universal spiritual practice of chant, poetry, silence, and reflection
Westminster Unitarian Church, East Greenwich, RI
Led by Rev. Shelley Dungan & Greg Sabatino
You are warmly invited into a peaceful, contemplative and uplifting gathering designed to quiet the mind and open the heart. Kirtan Sādhana blends simple chanting, sacred poetry, and moments of shared silence to create a spacious environment for inner reflection, connection, renewal and refreshment.
“Kirtan” refers to the gentle practice of call-and-response singing, and “Sādhana” means a spiritual practice that helps us return to presence. Together, these elements invite us into an inspiring collective experience.
This will be a warm-hearted evening filled with soulful sing-along chants and melodies. Let's bring our voices together to create a harmonious and inclusive atmosphere as we connect through the power of music and community. Don't miss this opportunity to free your spirit and find peace within.
No experience with chanting or meditation is needed—participate in whatever way feels comfortable: listen, hum, sing, or simply rest in the shared field of sound.
All are welcome.
